Triaxial sensors allow vibration measurement in all 3 spatial axes simultaneously, concentrated on one measuring point. All triaxial vibration transducers in this group are piezoelectric accelerometers with IEPE output.
The bandwidth of the triaxial vibration transducers ranges from very compact sizes with sensitivities of 1, 10 and 100 mV/g and through hole or thread in the floor to sensors for seismic measurements with a sensitivity of 50 mV/g. These are used in particular for low-frequency building vibration but also vibration measurement on wind turbines.
