Low-Cost Accelerometers

These accelerometers are convenient for many measuring tasks. Compared to shear-type accelerometers, they offer the advantage of a cheaper price, but they have a limited frequency domain. Furthermore, you have to bear in mind that there is a higher influence of thermal transients and base strain.
