Vibration Switch VS6

Application

The instrument VS6 is a very simple and economical solution for monitoring mechanical vibration. It contains both sensor and signal conditioning circuit.

Typical applications are:

• Vibration monitoring of fans, pumps, compressors etc.
• Emergency shut-off in production installations where vibration may endanger personnel and equipment
  
• Monitoring vibrations as part of process control
• Vibration detector for track vehicles
• Protection of fragile goods during transportation
• Safety switch at doors, gates etc.

Properties

• Monitors vibration velocity to ISO 10816 with two measuring ranges of 50 and 200 mm/s
• Frequency range from 3 or 10 Hz to 1000 Hz
• Built-in piezoelectric precision accelerometer
• Thresholds of relay adjustable from 5 to 100 % of measuring range
  
• Very sturdy aluminum case
• Water proof to IP65
• Simple attachment with M8 screw
